LEF Teacher Grants

Each fall, LEF invites Lakewood school teachers  to submit grant proposals to enhance their students' educational experiences.

Thanks to generous donations from Lakewood residents and businesses, LEF has funded hundreds of these classroom improvement grants in Lakewood schools since 2003.

These grants, which average about $500, provided technology as well as books of all kinds and reading levels, and educational field trips to aquariums, museums and even the UCI Center for the Neurobiology of Learning and Memory.
